What qualifies for inclusion
An entity must appear as a qualifying recommendation within the defined question and usable responses. Normalization resolves recognizable name variations while preserving distinctions that matter.
Passing mentions do not automatically qualify. Parent brands, local franchises, products, source publishers, and service providers can play different roles.
Commercial status does not set results
A provider need not be an advertiser or affiliate partner to appear or rank first. A partner can appear unfavorably or be absent. Corrections address evidence and attribution rather than preferred outcomes.
Absence is not a finding that a company is unsuitable or poor quality. Defined coverage may not capture smaller or local providers.
